Milestone for veteran officer

A veteran member of the Timmins Police Sesrvice, Staff Sgt. Mark Vallier, was presented this week with his 20-year exemplary service medal. “This commemorates a significant milestone in the career of Staff Sgt. Vallier who began his career with the Timmins Police Service on March 22nd, 1999,” according to a release issued by TPS, which described Vallier as a “duty conscious and meticulous officer who attained the rank of sergeant in 2010 and was successfully promoted to the rank of staff sergeant in 2014. Throughout his career, he applied his steadfast work ethic and knowledge on platoon, as well as in forensics, and as traffic sergeant.” Supplied Picasa / jpg, TD
