My intention was to ensure that we didn’t diminish that journey in ‘Yellowstone’ … They ultimately achieved what they desired, but sadly, life intervened and disrupted all of Kayce’s aspirations. That’s the position we find him in ‘Marshals.’”

In the series, Monica passes away due to cancer caused by environmental pollutants.

“Connecting her passing to a relevant societal issue that we could highlight a bit felt appropriate,” Hudnut shared with the publication.

One reviewer on Reddit expressed, “I just can’t bring myself to like or even respect Monica,” while another remarked, “I absolutely CAN’T STAND HER.”
