As of early Tuesday, reports indicate that Ukrainian air defense units achieved a remarkable 95% success rate against these Shahed drones. Within hours of engagement, a Ukrainian pilot successfully downed two Shahed drones from a distance of 500 km.

In total, the crew has destroyed around 200 targets, including 184 Shahed drones. Notably, they eliminated 20 Shahed drones in a single day. This effectiveness is attributed to the advanced interceptor drones known as Sting.

Yet, the conflict escalated when a private air defense unit shot down a high-speed ‘jet-powered’ Shahed drone for the first time. This intercepted drone was reportedly traveling at speeds exceeding 400 km/h.

In another development, it has been highlighted that Shahed drones are equipped with Tele2 SIM cards. However, roaming services for these cards are blocked in Ukraine.
