Laura Stacey made history by scoring the first-ever postseason hat trick in PWHL history. Jincy Roese scored the game-winning goal just 4:30 into overtime.
The match drew an impressive crowd of 9,364 fans. Minnesota now leads the best-of-five semifinal series 1-0.
Maddie Rooney played a crucial role for Minnesota, making 21 saves. Ann-Renée Desbiens stopped 24 shots for Montréal.
This game featured nine total goals, marking it as the second highest-scoring playoff contest in PWHL history. Notably, Minnesota’s last six playoff games have been decided in overtime.
