On March 2, 2026, at 10:57 a.m. ET

The Detroit Red Wings were initially set to face off against the Nashville Predators at their usual time this evening, but the NHL has rescheduled the game to start a few hours earlier than planned.

Game Rescheduling Details

The Red Wings (34-20-6) are set to face off against the Predators (27-24-8) on Monday, March 2, at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, with the game starting at 2 p.m. ET, a change from the previously scheduled 8 p.m. start time. Fans can catch the game on FanDuel Sports Network Detroit locally and on NHL Network nationally.

On December 9, the NHL revealed that the game would be rescheduled from its initial 8 p.m. ET time to better suit a prime-time audience in Europe at 8 p.m. Central European Time.

"The revised start time will enable the NHL’s premier talents to be highlighted during primetime – 8 p.m. CET – for enthusiastic hockey supporters throughout Europe, building on the excitement from the 2025 NHL Global Series in Sweden and the involvement of NHL players in the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026," the league announced in December.
