Six global franchises are competing in this league: Alpine Curling Club, Frontier Curling Club, Maple United, Northern United, Shield Curling Club, and Typhoon Curling Club. Each franchise is composed of ten players, featuring five men’s curlers and five women’s curlers, showcasing the league’s commitment to gender equality in sports.
Among the notable participants is Tracy Fleury, a member of the Shield Curling Club, which is captained by Brad Jacobs. Fleury’s Olympic teammates are also competing, adding to the league’s competitive edge. However, E.J. Harnden was originally slated to participate but has since pulled out.
