Early Tuesday, Tim Hortons announced major updates to its Timbits Soccer program. The new initiatives coincide with the program’s 30th anniversary.

More than 250,000 youth are supported through Timbits Soccer annually. This program has allowed millions of kids to learn soccer since its inception in 1993.

As part of this announcement, Tim Hortons signed a multi-year jersey deal with adidas. New jerseys will be distributed to players starting in May 2026.

An adult-sized Timbits Soccer x adidas Celebration Jersey will also be available for purchase in June 2026. This marks a significant step in enhancing the program’s visibility and appeal.

In addition to jerseys, Tim Hortons introduced new Timbits flavors: Chocolate Crème Brûlée, Lime Cheesecake, Cappuccino, and Birthday Cake with Popping Candy. These flavors aim to celebrate the brand’s legacy as it approaches the 50th anniversary of Timbits as a product line.

A TV campaign featuring Canadian soccer star Jonathan David will begin airing soon. This campaign aims to inspire young athletes and promote community engagement through sports.

“More than anything, soccer is where you build confidence, learn teamwork, and just enjoy being out there,” said David regarding the program.

Hope Bagozzi from Tim Hortons expressed pride in supporting youth through the program: “We’re incredibly proud of the legacy of the program.”

Kelly Graham added that equipping young players with adidas jerseys champions grassroots sports. It inspires a lifelong love for sport and community across Canada.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding additional features of the upcoming campaign. However, excitement is building around these updates.
