Greer indicated that while the Trump administration values the energy relationship with Canada, he cautioned against using energy resources as leverage in negotiations. He remarked, “America First is policy, not just a slogan.”
Jivani responded to Carney’s criticism by stating, “We’re all on the same team, and we don’t need to be fighting with each other.” He emphasized the importance of collaboration in navigating trade negotiations.
